Description
The caput medusae is a very special air plant. This tillandsia has tentacles as leaves and on these tentacles are trichomes. Trichomes are small gray hairs that are also called leaf scales. The Tillandsia absorbs moisture via the leaf scales, and the trichomes protect the plant from burning from direct sunlight. The leaves curl when dry, so you always know if your air plant needs water!
Dimensions Medium, large & XL
Care: Spray the air plant once or twice a week with rainwater or our nutrient spray. Make sure the air plant gets enough indirect sunlight and fresh air.
